User rols
Subscriber
Every new member of the swarm starts as a subscriber. The subscriber can comment and vote on posts and can create a own profile.
Employees
Employees can write articles without uploading photos and videos, but can not publish them directly. An admin or editor must confirm it. It is not possible for employees to edit articles from other authors, they can only change their own.
A verified member gets the rights of an employee
Becoming a verified member is easy – just enter in your profile how you call yourself on Facebook or Instagram or … . We just want to see a social account with some history, to be sure that this is a real person. We will contact the user there and ask for his/her name in swarmi.org. If it fits – that’s it! If you don’t have a social media account, we can do it another way, contact us.
Author
Authors can publish their own articles and activate comments on these articles themselves. Unlike employees, they can also upload photos and videos. As a user role, it is particularly interesting if someone wants to work completely independently as an article author. To get to that level you must first publish some articles as employee.
Editor
The editor has significantly more power. He may edit, publish or even delete his own and other people’s contributions. The only exceptions to this are articles from administrators. Editors can also create and edit static pages and categories. Moderator would be another name for the editor.
